fashion and textiles: the final outcome day

day3 is to make a final outcome which is to relate my research and the 3D sample designs that I did in class. My idea of my final piece is about pop art which reminds me of 60s OR 70s fashion because pop art was appear at that period  such as Andy Whlo. My final art piece was focused on the coulour and pattern.I also expected the quality and my piece should look realistic ( what is mean is my piece looks fasionable and able to wear on the street and feel comfortable. )

However, I was considering the time is the biggest problem to produce a perfect piece with details and texture.  Therefore I  design a cape  with a extra size pointy neck piece to stand my design. I was designed to make a lot of coulourful details on the neck piece to relate my 3D sample design. 

At the last moment because I losing time to make details on the neck piece so I gave up the details and change to focus on the textiles and pattern . I print the coulouful dot pattern and cover the whole cape,  and add a pop art style grafic art piece at the back. Then I cut out blue yellow and red paper in strips and stick around the neck piece .
But at the last moment I couldnnot finish the front which is the shame. I lose some detail and texture at front. So next time, I should speed it up and try to focus on the main part of 5he design.

However, my phone was out of battery during the making process, so I didn't take photo of the process..... 

Therefore, if I have this saturation again, I should borrow a phone or camera to take a picture no matter what because I know recording the process is a key point for assessment . And I should bring my phone charger to school next time. 

    I was planning to stick the  colorful 3D decoration around the neck piece. However. I could finished my piece at the last moment, because I had no time to put my 3D decoration on my piece.

Overall, I am happy about my pattern print, It relate to my research painting and what make it standout is the vibrant primary colours around the shoulder with a funky lips print at  the back and it has a comparison with the front plain chest piece. I think my outcome can wear to fashion week!
